Assistant Restaurant Manager Golf View Hotel & Spa, 63 Seabank Road, Nairn, Highland, IV12 4HD

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to add additional support to the day to day running of our restaurant and liquor department, with at least two years’ previous experience in a similar role.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Senior Management team to consistently drive standards and service within the restaurant
  • Manage service and training and development of the team
  • Be responsible for staff development training and ensuring exemplary levels of customer service at all times
  • Cover duty management and responsibility for the hotel in the General Manager’s absence
  • Alongside the Restaurant Manager, you will be accountable for managing budgets and maintaining a profitable operation in line with company objectives
  • Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximise resources
  • Set and monitor quality and service standards for staff
  • Communicate company policy, standards and procedures to staff
  • Direct and manage staff members to meet standards and objectives
  • Ensure staff operate within company policies
  • Organise and adjust staff rotas and schedules in accordance with budgets
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and drinks to meet set standards
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and to the customer’s absolute satisfaction
  • Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of premises
  • Promote and practice compliance with fire, health, safety and hygiene standards and regulations
  • Oversee accurate cash-up procedures and ensure necessary paperwork is complete
