Oban Bay Hotel Corran Esplanade, Oban, Argyllshire, PA34 5AE

Are you looking to move to the beautiful West Coast of Scotland?

Then we want to work with you!

A gateway to the best of the west, Oban is fortunate to have daily trains to Glasgow, a direct bus service to Fort William and frequent ferries to Herbidean islands near and far. Still, travelling times can be long and journeys can be affected by weather, so life here suits those seeking to explore Scotland at a slower pace.

The town itself attracts visitors looking to wander its castles, gardens and beaches. They also come to sample the best of the town's distillery, cafes and restaurants, which are just as popular with locals. With so much on offer in such a picturesque location, life hits full throttle in the summer months, then settles down in the winter.

Year round, the views across to the Isles of Mull and Kerrera, as well as the Firth of Lorne, are unbeatable. On the edge of the esplanade, Oban Bay Hotel sees its fair share of spectacular sunsets - it really makes you stop and think about what a stunning part of the world you live in.

Three reasons to choose a career with Crerar Hotels

  1. Destination locations

Scotland provides a sought-after quality of life, ideal for outdoorsy types. Urbanites may find there are limitations, with reduced public transport, small local shops and occasionally - the ultimate modern hardship - patchy phone signal. But those who take that in their stride find that they discover true peace and quiet, wake up to incredible scenery and have Scotland's natural larder to feast on daily.

  1. Talent development

We always aim to progress staff internally where possible, which means a number of our team have been with us long-term. They've chosen to make a life in one (or more!) of our locations, building themselves a varied career in the Scottish hospitality industry.

  1. Shaped by our values

We share the spirit of Scotland through our values. We take pride in providing a truly authentic experience; we're warm in personality, curious to get to know our guests and confident in sharing our knowledge. We take what we do seriously, but our humour means we also see the lighter side. Above all, we're comfortable saying, "we are who we are!"
