The Glencoe Inn Glencoe Village, Ballachulish, Argyllshire, PH49 4HP

Are you looking to work with a friendly team in a stunning location?

Then we want to work with you!

Glencoe village, near its famous namesake, Glen Coe valley, is in one of the most spectacular areas of Scotland. It's the kind of place where waking up to the view of the mountains is just as beautiful every day.

In the shadow of the Pap of Glencoe, overlooking Loch Leven, is The Glencoe Inn. It's a wee four star AA rated inn with an adjoining restaurant, Glencoe Gathering, a popular stop for road trippers.

For our staff, having this amazing landscape on their doorstep is perfect. They love the outdoors and make the most of opportunities to hike, bike, kayak and more in their downtime.

Of course, the reality of a remote location is a 30 minute drive to the supermarket, in Fort William. The nearest big city is Glasgow, 2 hours' drive south, with one bus a day running between Fort William and Glasgow via Glencoe.

Life can take on a slower pace in winter but is full-on in summer. New staff always receive a warm welcome into our small team, and we can provide live-in accommodation in a dedicated block, plus staff meals.

Can we tempt you to join us?

Three reasons to choose a career with Crerar Hotels

  1. Destination locations

Scotland provides a sought-after quality of life, ideal for outdoorsy types. Urbanites may find there are limitations, with reduced public transport, small local shops and occasionally - the ultimate modern hardship - patchy phone signal. But those who take that in their stride find that they discover true peace and quiet, wake up to incredible scenery and have Scotland's natural larder to feast on daily.

  1. Talent development

We always aim to progress staff internally where possible, which means a number of our team have been with us long-term. They've chosen to make a life in one (or more!) of our locations, building themselves a varied career in the Scottish hospitality industry.

  1. Shaped by our values

We share the spirit of Scotland through our values. We take pride in providing a truly authentic experience; we're warm in personality, curious to get to know our guests and confident in sharing our knowledge. We take what we do seriously, but our humour means we also see the lighter side. Above all, we're comfortable saying, "we are who we are!"
